Our Stand Down

As you read, organizations and volunteers are hard at work preparing for the next annual Five Seasons Stand Down and Resource Fair.

This collaborative event helps people who are homeless or near-homeless transition to community living by providing access to human service agencies, including benefits counseling (Social Security and Veterans), employment and training assistance, eye exams, health care screenings, housing services, legal assistance, behavioral health treatment and substance abuse counseling. Attendees often also have access to personal care providers, such as hair stylists. Roughly 80 agencies provided outreach during our 2019 event.

Five Seasons Stand Down is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, the Linn County Board of Supervisors Witwer Trust and by community and corporate donations.
