Our Stand Down
This collaborative event helps individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability connect with resources that support their transition to stable community living. Participants have access to a wide range of human service agencies offering assistance such as benefits counseling (including Social Security and Veterans benefits), employment and job training support, healthcare screenings, housing services, legal assistance, and behavioral health and substance use counseling and treatment. Attendees can also receive services from personal care providers, including hair stylists.
More than 70 agencies typically participate in this outreach event, and the number continues to grow each year.
Transportation is available for individuals who need a ride to the event, and lunch is provided for all participants, volunteers, and vendors.
